Sickening new images have appeared online which claim to show ISIS militants executing six alleged spies after the men were accused of leaking information to the Iraqi government.
One of the men, believed to be a hospital worker, has bright blue, explosive wire tied around his neck.
The images, uploaded to Twitter by the SITE Intel Group, were reportedly taken in the Al-Fallujah Province in Iraq, just west of Baghdad.
Some men have explosive wire tied around their necks – intended to decapitate them – while others are faced with guns held to their heads.
One man named as Mohammed Mahmoud Dayih, is accused of using his position as an administrator at a hospital in Iraq to send information to the Iraqi Interior Ministry.
ISIS believe he shared information of staff working for ISIS at the hospital and also held information on the dead and wounded ISIS fighters.
Another man, thought to be a policeman, is accused of passing information on ISIS to the Iraqi Army.
Earlier this week, it is believed that five crew members piloting an Iraqi Army plane were killed after ISIS fighters ‘shot their aircraft out of the sky’.
Footage uploaded to social media by the Amaq news agency, which supports Islamic State, purported to show an Iraqi Air Force plane being shot down over Hawija, northwest of the oil city of Kirkuk.
