Cristiano Ronaldo is calling a truce with Real Madrid coach Rafa Benitez.

Ronaldo has been unsettled by Benitez’s methods this season and hasn’t seen eye-to-eye with the coach since preseason.

However, Marca says after a chat with president Florentino Perez, Ronaldo, realising the coach was safe, has thrown his support behind Benitez.

Ronaldo, before his four-goal performance against Malmo, addressed the squad this week, urging every player to get behind Benitez.

After their Champions League win over Malmo, Ronaldo stated: “He has to be given time and is adapting to Real Madrid. I think he’s doing well.”
