Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho already has his XI selected for their trip to Liverpool.
The Manchester Evening News says Mourinho is giving his players extra rest.
The United boss has given his non-internationals four days off and the Red Devils will travel to Liverpool later than usual to help those on international duty.
Mourinho, who has implemented a fixed day off policy during his time at Old Trafford, had his players train from Tuesday to Thursday last week.
That gave the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Michael Carrick and Luke Shaw the chance to have an extended weekend.
United will also travel to Liverpool next Monday – on the day of the clash – in an attempt to give Mourinho’s internationals an extra recovery period.
