Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is being linked with a return to Spain – at Real Madrid.

Real are shopping for a new keeper and if Manchester United manage to fight off their attentions for David de Gea, the defending Liga champs will turn to Courtois.

El Chiringuito says Courtois doesn’t enjoy the best relationship with Chelseaboss Jose Mourinho. It’s claimed they do not see eye-to-eye over training methods.

Mourinho has backed Courtois over Petr Cech this season, but it’s suggested the Belgian is unsettled.

And despite his Atletico Madrid background, Courtois would see no problem moving to Real should they come calling.

The former editor of Marca, Eduardo Inda, revealed: “Courtois is very angry with Mourinho, both for footballing and personal reasons. It can be assumed that for the future signing of Real Madrid, if it’s not De Gea, it can be Courtois.”
