Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane says Cristiano Ronaldo will be ready for Champions League opponents Manchester City.

Ronaldo missed the 3-2 win at Rayo Vallecano with a hamstring strain.

“Cristiano will travel to Manchester. We’re going to assess (Karim) Benzema,” said Zidane.

“All that I can say is that it’s not a knock. We’ll get back to Valdebebas and do what we need to do there to assess what the issue is. I hope that it’s nothing serious and that he’ll be available for Tuesday. Right now I can’t tell you any more than that.”
