Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana admits manager Jurgen Klopp could smell blood at Chelsea on Saturday.
Ramires put struggling Chelsea ahead after just four minutes at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
But Philippe Coutinho levelled on the stroke of half-time with a terrific strike.
Klopp was so buoyed by the equaliser he told his team to attack, attack, attack.
“It was a great time to score,” Lallana told the Liverpool Echo. “It gave us a big lift. The manager’s message at half-time was – it’s there for us, the points are there for the taking.
“He said not to think about Chelsea’s situation and just to worry about us. It was all about us taking the next step forward.
“He wanted us to be positive and aggressive and we did that. We took control in the second half and deserved the points.“
