Despite watching their side snatch victory over Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League last night, most Chelsea fans are still feeling pretty melancholy after their rough start to the season.
While plenty of Blues supporters feel aggrieved at Jose Mourinho’s treatment by the FA over recent weeks, others are simply desperate for a consistent upturn in results. The feelgood factor is yet to return to the club.
Accordingly, we reckon Chelsea fans need a bit of light relief ahead of this weekend’s gritty away trip to Stoke . Hopefully this will brighten up their collective mood – it’s a parody song for the Special One which should give even the gloomiest of West Londoners a bit of a giggle.
Written and performed by comedy songwriter and standup Jim Daly , the ditty is an attempt to get Jose to open up about his struggles so far this campaign. Titled ‘Nothing To Say’ and sung to the tune of Shaggy’s ‘It Wasn’t Me’, it goes to Jose with some witty quick-fire questions about the season – all of which get the monosyllabic treatment to which his interviewers have now become accustomed.
If the topic matter’s all a bit too raw to give you a good laugh, it should at least provide some closure on what has been a troubled (though arguably comical) period for the Blues.
Will Jose himself be able to have a secret giggle about this? No comment.
