Chelsea are on the brink of signing £30million N’Golo Kante from Leicester .
Midfielder Kante is due to have a medical on Saturday after the Blues agreed the fee and the Frenchman’s five-year, £120,000-a-week deal.
And in another massive blow for last season’s surprise champions, Riyad Mahrez is also set to snub a new £100,000-per-week deal.
He wants to follow Kante out of the King Power, which will alert admirers Arsenaland Barcelona.
Chelsea hope to complete a deal to make Kante their second summer signing over this weekend.
Earlier in the week, Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri urged anchorman Kante to make his mind up over his future after being offered a new deal before playing for his country at Euro 2016.
New Chelsea boss Antonio Conte confirmed on Thursday that he was eyeing up to three further signings to bolster his squad, having already landed £33m striker Michy Batshuayi from Marseille.
Kante will be the next, and while his exit is a huge setback for Leicester, the blow will be cushioned by the £23.4m profit they make on a player signed him for just £5.6m from Caen 12 months ago.
He was an instant hit after joining last summer and played a massive part in their shock and historic title win.
Leicester managed to fend off Arsenal when they made a £20m move for star striker Jamie Vardy.
But they have been less successful with Kante, and now face losing PFA Player of the Year Mahrez too, despite offering the Algerian a bumper new deal.
