The departure of Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal to Arsenal is gathering pace.

In Chile, it’s reported a deal has been agreed, with Vidal joining the Gunners immediately after the Copa America this summer.

The presence of Alexis Sanchez, Vidal’s Chile teammate, has been key in the talks with Arsenal.

Meanwhile, Juve have already identified his replacement and are in negotiations with Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira. The German has announced he is leaving Real with his deal to expire next month.

Juve have delivered a €4 million-a-year offer to Khedira’s camp.
