Jose Mourinho is sweating on the fitness of a number of his Manchester United stars ahead of this weekend’s derby.

Midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan returned from international duty early to have treatment on a thigh problem, after the Armenian FA claimed that he would be ruled out for up to 10 days.

Meanwhile, Jesse Lingard has not featured for United since the Community Shield win over Leicester City, report the Manchester Evening News.

United will also wait to assess Antonio Valencia, Marcos Rojo and Sergio Romero – with the trio not expected back from internationals in South America until just 24 hours before the derby.
