Jose Mourinho was spotted at Craven Cottage on Saturday watching Fulham’s game against MK Dons as speculation over the Manchester United job continues .
The Portuguese manager, who was axed as Chelsea boss in December, was back in west London as he watched the Cottagers against the Dons in the Championship.
The ex-Blues boss continues to be linked with a summer switch to the Red Devils.
Louis van Gaal’s future in the Old Trafford hotseat has been the subject of fierce speculation in recent months, some expecting the Dutchman to be relieved of his duties this summer – even if he manages to secure a top-four spot for the Red Devils.
Some reports even claim that Mourinho has lined up players to take with him to United should he complete a move before next season.
French publication Le10Sport reported on Saturday that Mourinho was keen to bring midfielder Lassana Diarra with him to Old Trafford in the summer transfer window.
Mourinho has been without a club since his Stamford Bridge sacking shortly before Christmas after presiding over a disastrous defence of Chelsea’s Premier League title.
The spiky Mourinho reportedly fell out with the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Diego Costa and Eden Hazard after watching the trio’s form plummet in the dying embers of his reign.
