Just In: Jose Mourinho confirms he WILL start next job in July

Jose Mourinho has confirmed he WILL start a new job in July.

The Portuguese coach has been out of work since December when he was sacked by Chelsea for a second time.

The 53-year-old been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United if executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and the Glazers decide to part company with Louis van Gaal a year before his contract is due to end, report the Manchester Evening News.

The Dutchman is coming under increasing pressure at Old Trafford with United languishing sixth in the Premier League table and struggling to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Mourinho hinted in an interview in Singapore last month that he would rather start a new job in the summer than take over mid way through this season.

And he’s confirmed in an interview with BT Sport – due to be shown this week – that he is set to begin work with a new club in July.
