John Terry has revealed he’s leaving Chelsea when his contract expires at the end of the season.
The 35-year-old has been with the Blues since the age of 14, graduating from their youth ranks to eventually become their captain.
He remains one of the best defenders in the Premier League, but Terry says Chelsea won’t be offering him a new contract and he’ll be leaving.
Speaking after the 5-1 victory over MK Dons in the FA Cup, he explained he plans to continue his playing career – but not for another English club.
Teams in MLS and the Chinese Super League have already been linked with his services, while Turkish outfit Fenerbache are long-term admirers.
