Falcao willing to slash pay demands to clinch Chelsea move

Departing Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao hopes to stay in the Premier League.

The Daily Star says he will accept a drop in pay to join Chelsea.

The Colombian is heading back to Monaco this summer afterManchester United decided against making his loan deal permanent.

The ex-Porto and Atletico Madrid man would have to accept a £100,000-per-week pay cut from his current £265,000-a-week deal to secure a switch to Stamford Bridge.

That’s because the Blues refuse to pay more than £200,000 to any of their star names.

Liverpool have also been linked with a swoop for Falcao.
