There are reports that Nigerian ex-international, Emmanuel Emenike, has finally left Dubai club Al Ain after his loan deal expired.
According to africanfootball.com, the former Karabukspor forward who announcedhis retirement on his Instagram page some months ago scored nine goals in 15 games for Al Ain is expected to return to Fenerbahce.
Zlatko Dalic, coach of Al Ain commended Emenike for his efforts at the club throughout his 6-month loan spell.
“I want to say thank you to Emenike and Babel for the last six months with us,” Dalic said.
“I wish them all the best next season at a new club. This is football, this is life. Also, we did everything that our fans wanted of us. I hope to make them happy. We’ve had a great half season. I’m sure we’ve had great transfer window and did everything our fans expected of us.”
Meanwhile, Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo is very optimistic he will return to play for English Premier League giants Chelsea.
Omeruo who signed for the London based club in 2013 is yet to feature for ‘The Blues’ as he is on loan at Turkish Super League team Kasimpasa.
