Cristiano Ronaldo has been gearing up for Portugal’s European Championship clash with Poland… by showing off a £4,000 watch.
The Real Madrid star, a marketer’s dream, uploaded a picture of himself wearing a luxury Tag Heuer watch to Instagram as he enjoyed some downtime in France.
Alongside the snap, he wrote: “Time to relax and bring out my @tagheuer Carrera MikrotourbillonS, the world’s fastest Tourbillon watch, to fuel me up before the big match! #dontcrackunderpressure.”
Ronaldo was named as the highest paid athlete in the world by Forbes this year, with more than a third of his $88million earnings coming from endorsements.
The 31-year-old is set to start in Marseille on Thursday night as Portugal attempt to reach the last four of Euro 2016.
