Eden Hazard has aimed a swipe at Jose Mourinho by insisting Antonio Conte’s man-management has improved the Chelsea dressing room after an “ugly” season.

The Blues are joint-top of the Premier League and one of only three clubs with maximum points.

Last season, as defending champions, they managed just one win from their first five under Mourinho – who was sacked in December.

Hazard said: “Conte puts trust in his players and now we are good after an ugly season last year.”

The Belgian, who struggled for form last season, already has two goals in his first three games.

He added: “I’ve always been the same player but Conte knows how to treat players having played at the highest level himself.”

While Hazard has hailed Conte’s skills in the dressing room, the new Blues boss believes the “good personality” of David Luiz will further enhance the Blues.
