Chelsea winger Victor Moses is in line for a return to the national team fold after missing important matches of the Super Eagles in recent months.

Newly appointed Super Eagles head coach, Sunday Oliseh, who was in London to see the Community Shield match between Chelsea and Arsenal has held successful talks with the player.

Oliseh revealed that he had met with Victor Moses in what he described as a “very constructive meeting”.

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President Amaju Melvin Pinnick was also in London for the meeting.

Sunday Oliseh later posted a photo he took with Moses and his Belgian assistant, Jean Francois Losciuto, explaining what transpired after Arsenal beat Chelsea 1-0 in the Community Shield via his official twitter handle.

“At Wembley to see Chelsea vs Arsenal. Hoping to see Super Eagles Moses & Mikel play with FA Boss Pinnick & Losciuto.

“Very constructive meeting with Chelsea & Super Eagles’ Victor Moses. The team building continues,” Oliseh wrote through his verified Twitter account @SundayOOliseh.

The former international also took the chance to speak with Moses’ Chelsea teammate, John Obi Mikel after the game and both players are now widely expected to be a part of the new look Super Eagles.

Mikel has played 64 times for Nigeria at senior level while Moses, who won his first cap for Nigeria in 2012 has played for the Super Eagles 24 times.
