Chelsea have reportedly set the wheels in motion for the departure of Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho’s job security came further into question following the Blues’ 2-1 loss to West Ham on Saturday, which leaves Chelsea in 15th place on the Premier League ladder.

The Daily Mail is reporting Chelsea have already started to prepare a contingency plan should they part ways with the Portuguese boss and it is understood a severance package for Mourinho has already been discussed by the top brass at Stamford Bridge.

It is understood a poor result against Liverpool at home on Saturday could be the final nail in Mourinho’s coffin.
