Chelsea midfielder Fabregas wanted by THREE Italian clubs

Chelsea face a battle to keep hold of midfield star Cesc Fabregas in the January transfer window.

The 29-year-old playmaker is on the wanted list of Juventus and both AC Milan and Inter Milan.

Fabregas came on as a late substitute during the 2-1 home defeat by Liverpool, failing to influence events.

Manager Antonio Conte insisted last week that the Spain World Cup winner is part of his plans at Stamford Bridge.

But Fabregas is unlikely to be happy with a bit-part role at Chelsea these days.

He is keen to be part of Spain’s bid to reach the World Cup finals in Russia in 2018 – and he appreciates that his chances will be limited without regular first-team football.

AC Milan made an unsuccessful attempt to sign Fabregas during the summer window, but they will try again at the start of next year.

And they will have Serie A rivals in Juventus and Inter Milan who would be keen to take him on loan for the second half of the season.
