Petr Cech made his Premier League debut for Arsenal on Sunday afternoon as the Gunners hosted West Ham in what was billed as a simple win for Arsene Wenger’s men.
However, Arsenal found themselves 2-0 down early in the second half after two mistakes from the legendary Chelsea goalkeeper.
The 33 year old goalkeeper was signed by Arsenal this summer amidst much fanfare. Many Gooners thought his signing could bring Premier League glory back to Arsenal.
He was definitely at fault for the first goal, coming for a cross but failing to get there before Cheikhou Kouyaté.
Early in the second half, a wrong-footed Petr Cech was beaten at his near post by a tame strike from all of 25 yards by Mauro Zarate.
The Czech goalkeeper was hammered on Twitter, by many of his previous adorers. Few of the best (?) tweets on next page.

"Having Cech in goal gives the defence in front of him confidence."
Having Arsenals defence in front of him doesn't give Cech confidence.
