Chelsea captain John Terry breaks record to become England’s top Champions League footballer


You might like him. Man of you quite probably loathe him. Whatever you think of him, you get the impression John Terry really doesn’t care.

As certain pundits found out when he handed out several tongue lashings in his most recent press conference , the Chelsea captain feels that his CV acts as the perfect riposte to all the criticism and abuse he receives.

And you know what? The man’s got a point.

By making his 107th Champions League start against Dynamo Kiev , the (very much former) England defender has just broken the record for any Englishman in the competition’s history.
