“Coach Sunday Oliseh has returned to Belgium to continue treatment after being advised by Eagles medics.
“He became dizzy and weak after lunch on Thursday and he travels abroad tonight through the Port Harcourt Airport.”
With this development, the home-based Super Eagles would be without Oliseh when they travel to Burkina Faso for the second leg of the CHAN qualifier on Friday.
This is coming after initial confusions over the real state of the coach’s health prior to the first leg of the CHAN qualifiers last week.
The NFF had initially stated that the coach was okay and that he would be available for the match, but later made a u-turn on the situation, stating that he was sick and would be away.
Eventually, Naij.com Sports correspondent who was in Port Harcourt for the 2-0 win against Burkina Faso, reported that Oliseh was on the bench, a development which was also confirmed by highlights of the game.
