Arturo Vidal is set to join German champions Bayern Munich after they agreed a fee with Juventus.

The Chile midfielder, 28, is expected to undergo his medical in Munich this weekend ahead of completing the reported 37m euro (£26m) move.

“I can fundamentally confirm that we have reached an agreement with both parties, Juventus and the player,” said Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

“All that is lacking now is the medical and the signatures on the contract.”
