Barcelona are stunned by UEFA’s snub for the best player in Europe award.
UEFA’s decision to nominate Antoine Griezmann, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale for the best player in Europe award has angered Barcelona, admits sporting vice-president Jordi Mestre.
“I don’t think it’s good at all. I don’t know what criteria UEFA have applied, with all respect to the chosen winners, but I don’t agree. That our players are not there, like Suarez or Messi for example, is scandalous,” he told TV3.
“In the club we are very disappointed and angry.”
