Petr Cech has been ruled out of Arsenal’s north London derby with Tottenham on Saturday.
The Gunners stopper went up for a corner at the end of his side’s shock home defeat to Swansea but pulled up as he made his way back to goal.
And after the clash Arsene Wenger confirmed Cech would miss the trip to White Hart Lane with David Ospina set to come in.
The bad news continues with Laurent Koscielny also out of the huge showdown.
The Frenchman missed the loss to Swansea with a calf problem with Per Mertesacker and Gabriel starting in defence.
Wenger said: “Petr Cech is injured. I think it will keep him out of the game against Tottenham at the weekend. But I have full-confidence in David Ospina.”
Arsenal’s defeat was their second in four days as goals from Wayne Routledge and Ashley Williams secured a vital win for the visitors.
Wenger’s men are now six points behind leaders Leicester going into the clash at White Hart Lane.
Their top four chances are now even in doubt with Manchester United just four points behind.
Swansea meanwhile, climbed six clear of the relegation zone with the victory.
