Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been impressed by the rise of Leicester City’s “special” striker Jamie Vardy.

Wenger admits he’s surprised to see Leicester doing so well considering they were bottom of the table this time last year.

“It’s absolutely fantastic,” he says of Vardy.

“It is not a miracle, because that is a consequence of his quality. The miracle is that he played at Fleetwood and that he didn’t play in the Premier League before.”
