Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is out of the Euros after being sidelined for six to eight weeks.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed the England forward has “no chance” of making the tournament and is set to return in July.
The Frenchman said: “We have lost Chamberlain during the week, he will be out for six to eight weeks.
“I’m very sad because he was quite sharp and physically ready. He looked sharp in training last week. He was planned to play on Tuesday night but he got injured on Monday morning.”
Oxlade-Chamberlain has not played for the Gunners since February’s 2-0 defeat to Barcelona in the last-16 of the Champions League.
He has made just 22 appearances in the top flight this season, scoring just once.
But the outlook for the 22-year-old former Southampton star looked better last week when Wenger that his entire squad had been injury free for the first time this season.
Now, however, he could have kicked his last ball for Arsenal with the club willing to listen to offers for him this summer.
