An apparently enraged woman demanded her pound of flesh after she caught her husband allegedly cheating on her.
42-year-old Laura timed her husband and sold his house while he was on a two weeks business trip in New York.
She had seen a message sent to her husband, Craig Arnold from a woman who promised to give him a warm ans sexy welcome when he arrives United States.
Arnold returned from his trip to meet the shock of his life as the locks on his house had been changed and all the lights still on at 11pm.
At first, he felt it was strange because his wife was normally in bed by then, and things got stranger when a 21-year-old lad opened the door.
It eventually dawned on him that a group of six students had taken over his family home which hi wife sold to them.
Laura decided to sell the house as qui as practito make sure she gets a revenge on her cheating husband.
According to Birmingham Mercury, because her parents had helped with the deposit and the mortgage when the couple ran into financial difficulties, she didn’t need her husband’s okay to put the property on the market.
Pushing to sell the house as quickly as possible, she managed it within a fortnight, leaving Arnold to unravel the truth by himself.
He said: “I noticed all Laura’s furniture was gone, but the chairs and tables I’d inherited from my late father, plus my set of golf clubs and vintage radio – which Laura always hated – was sitting on the kitchen table in all its glory.
“She’d included my most prized possessions in the “fixtures and fittings”. I was gutted. I still can’t get my head around how she did this in the space of a two week holiday.’
Laura said: “Things aren’t great between us at the moment.”
