A fund raising campaign via social media has helped raise up to N32 million for a cancer patient.

This is despite dominant cries over the dwindling economic fortunes of the country.

Ahmed Mayowa (pictured above) has been diagnosed with bilateral Ovarian Mass Carnicoma, which is gradually snuffing the life out of her.

But she reached out to Nigerians for help…

Her friends rallied sharing the appeal majorly on Facebook and Twitter.

One of them confirmed, Tuesday morning, that the target had been met.

But Mayowa still needs prayers.

“Remember me in your prayers as you donate too. I hope to live to tell this story,” She wrote on a gofundmepage.
