A pastor has been killed after he was struck by lightning while preaching during a church service.
The 41-year-old pastor died on the spot after he was struck by lightning while preaching at the Apostolic Church at Mazana village in the Kavango East Region in Namibia during a Sunday service, reports Namibia Press Agency (Nampa).
Namibian Police Force (NamPol) spokesperson Chief Inspector Kauna Shikwambi said the incident occurred in full view of his congregation, Nampa reported.
The pastor, identified as Kavanga John Karora, died instantly.
He was a resident of Rundu, the capital of the Kavango-East Region, in northern Namibia.
