A man has been accused of impregnating a 14-year-old girl as he held her captive while being electronically tagged by police.
Cody Jackson, from Salt Lake City in Ohio, faces charges of enticement and coercion of a minor to engage in sexual activity.
Jackson has also been charged with four counts of rape, four counts of unlawful sexual contact with a minor, one count of interference with custody and one count of kidnapping.
In September last year the 20-year-old was placed under electronic monitoring after being charged with interference with abduction, kidnapping and custody.
He was also suspected of holding two females against their will in August last year.
Jackson was released, but authorities could track his movements using an electronic tag as their probe continued.
The conditions of his bail was that he remained in his home.
But Jackson has now been arrested on separate charges after allegedly using the social networking site Facebook to contact a 14-year-old girl earlier this year.
He asked to meet her, and even arranged a taxi for her so she could be transported to his home.
This went on for a number of weeks, with Jackson regularly arranging trips for her to come visit him as he could not leave the home himself.
Authorities said that Jackson regularly had sex with the girl, and that he set up a list of ‘rules for her to follow’ while also controlling her social media accounts.
Things soured, and he began to verbally abuse and physically assault her, according to the FBI.
After one visit in March, the 14-year-old was told she could not leave.
He also allegedly informed her on the limited ways she was now allowed to contact her family.
The girl became pregnant after the pair had sex over the course of a month, police said, but eventually managed to escape the apartment.
Cops arrested Jackson on October 8.
For previous charges he has admitted interference of custody.
Authorities have also accused Jackson of using Facebook to transfer child pornography.
