Two brothers were arrested after stabbing their own parents and trying to set their house on fire in Snellville, Georgia, USA.

Early Saturday norning Yvonne Ervin called 911 asking for help after stating her children were trying to kill her and her husband Zachary Ervin.

“She told the 911 operator that it was their two sons, one 17 and the other 22 years old, trying to kill them both. She stated that her husband was distracting them so she was able to call for help. The call eventually went silent,” the police said.

When officers arrived, they found both man and woman bleeding and seriously injured. “Zachary came out of the garage and collapsed. He had a lot of head and body injuries from blunt force trauma and stab wounds on his back,” Gwinnett County Police Sgt. Rich Long said.

Moreover, they detected a strong odor of natural gas inside the home, which made them believe that the criminals tried to start a fire. The married couple were taken to hospital for treatment, fortunately, they are expected to survive.
