A South African woman appeared in court for trying to do something unthinkable to her one-and-a-half-year old baby.
A twenty-year-old woman, who attempted to sell her little son on the internet for as low as $380, was arrested in South Africa.
Hangwani Mulaudzi, the SA police spokesman, told the press that after police was alerted about her offer posted on the popular advertising site “we met her and there was an exchange of money with an undercover police officer” which led to her subsequent immediate arrest.
Since that the woman appeared in court on human trafficking charges.
The baby has been taken into care by social workers who say that the child was in good health.
