On Tuesday, Aderemi Opadokun, the Commissioner of Police in Borno State, told newsmen in Maiduguri that a suicide bomber killed five people after he detonated an Improvised Explosive Device (IED).
But before the explosion went off, the suicide bomber was reported to have shouted “Sai Buhari” as against “allahu akbar”
Many Nigerians reacted to the statement very differently and here are some responses from Twitter.
From what we see & hear, “sai Buhari” can be inferred to mean “Danger”. Whenever u hear it, please run for ur life. #4yearsOfSaiBuhari

So it is safe to assume that someone very close to the Maiduguri bomber survived? How else could anyone have heard “Sai Buhari”?

He shouted Sai Buhari and boom he goes. You heard him and you’re still alive? Well, I still believe in miracle.

“@ChidiArua: So, the Boko Haram propagators told the 2 scream “Sai Buhari” before detonating his bomb just to implicate Mr President?”

I live in Maiduguri, and close to the Bomb blast scene, and the word “Sai Buhari” by the sucide bomber was totally false.
