Former Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse has blasted his ex-wife after she appeared on a Channel 5 programme about flashy celebrities.
Jude Cisse, who was branded a “disgrace”, was among the stars featured on an episode of Britain’s Flashiest Families on Tuesday.
In the programme the businesswoman was shown shopping for a Porsche, reports the Liverpool Echo.
She marked her divorce with a party and a three-tiered cake, complete with an icing depiction of a traditional bride with a decapitated groom.
The footballer launched into an angry rant against Jude on Twitter and said he was furious she had allowed their three children to be filmed.
In three separate posts, he said: “Omg u go crying that u dont have enought money to raise rhe kids and u go flasing on cars f…… Joke u r a disgrace.
“Dont worry i will tell my side of the story u cant full people like this u punk
“Showing off the kids on national tv what a joke this is a f….. Disgrace i will not accept this c***.”
He later shared a photo showing him with new love Marie-Cecile Lenzini, writing: “After 4 years u still talking about me? Get a life do like me find love.”
While Jude’s appearance on the show prompted support on social media from people praising her business nous, she also came under fire from Twitter users who accused women on the show of “gold digging”.
In response to one critic, she said she had “joint ventures” with her husband and their cash was split “fairly”.
Earlier this year Jude told of her heartbreak over the split, saying it had left a “pain that will never go away”.
The former hairdresser, who grew up in Anglesey, said: “I may have had a flashy, fabulous lifestyle a few years ago while I was married to my husband but fast forward to now and I still have a great lifestyle I maintain all by myself.”
After meeting millionaire Cisse the couple had a £100,000 fairytale wedding at Bodelwyddan Castle in 2005 before moving into a Cheshire manor house.
Around 200 guests, including some of the globe’s biggest-name footballers at the time such as Steven Gerrard, Zinedine Zidane and Thierry Henry, were invited to the couple’s wedding.
After buying the mansion Cisse inherited the title Lord of the Manor of Frodsham, which meant Jude became “Lordess”.
She told supporters she was staying upbeat about the show.
She added: “There was only a couple of negative opinions, which everyone is entitled to.
“Got to take the rough with the smooth… after all I can’t be everyone’s cup of tea.”
