Hollywood couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have reportedly adopted a Cambodian baby boy from the Siem Reap slums.
According to Radar Online, Angelina Jolie who is directing her new film, First They Killed My Father in Siem Reap came in contact with the baby Allouy Shoun through her daughters. Zahara (11) and Shiloh (9) who had become friends with the baby’s family. The baby’s 16-year-old sister, Leida had approached Zahara and Shiloh while they were enjoying some ice-cream with their Dad.
Aside adopting baby Allouy Shoun who has a dozen older siblings, the actress is said to have pledged to pay about $1 million (US dollars) to support the family and for the adoption of the baby.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have six children. While three are their biological children, three others were adopted. Allouy Shoun will become their seventh child and fourth adopted child when the adoption process is finalized.
