Shekau still leads Boko Haram – Journalist calls out Chad president

Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau has threatened Cameroon in a message on the video-sharing site YouTube, warning that the same fate would befall the country as neighbouring Nigeria. The video, which was posted on January 5, 2015, is directly addressed to Cameroon's President Paul Biya after repeated fighting between militants and troops in the country's far north. "Oh Paul Biya, if you don't stop this, your evil plot, you will taste what has befallen Nigeria... Your troops cannot do anything to us," Shekau said in Arabic. Last week, Chadian president ,Idriss Deby revealed Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau had been ousted and replaced with a new leader.He said

There is someone apparently called Mahamat Daoud who is said to have replaced Abubakar Shekau and wants to negotiate with the Nigerian government.”

Nigerian journalist,Ahmad Salkida,reportedly on exile in Dubai is known to have contact with Boko Haram leaders,as they allow him speak with them.He has accused  the Chadian leader of lying, and says the Chadian president had also deceived former president, Goodluck Jonathan into entering a fruitless peace deal with Boko Haram.
