Nawarawa state is in a state of uncertainty as the whereabouts of the Governor, Tanko Al-makura is yet to be disclosed, reports say.
Vanguard reports that nobody knows where Al-Makura has been for over one week.
Reports say the Nasarawa state Governor did not officially state where he was going.
There are indications that he travelled out of the country for personal purposes, but refused to make his departure official, so he will not hand over to the Deputy Governor, Silas Agara.
Reports also revealed that there has been a rift between Governor Al-Makura and Agara.
The Deputy Governor, Agara is reportedly an ally of Senator Abdullahi Adamu, a former governor of the state.
Residents of the state also are worried because no official comment has been made on the Governor’s whereabouts.
Some members of the Nasarawa state House of Assembly recently exchanged blows over the decision of Al-Makura to appoint sole administrators for the Local Governments in the state.
The House of Assembly also suspended six of its members following a brawl which occurred during its plenary session on Monday, April 4, 2016.
