The Department of State Security Services in Rivers State has paraded four suspected kidnappers of Vanguard columnist, Donu Kogbara.

The Rivers State Director of. DSS, Ibrahim Ngoshe said the suspects were part of a thirteen-man gang that kidnapped popular columnist and broadcaster, Donu Kogbara two months ago at her home in Nkpogu area of Port Harcourt.

Parading the suspects at the DSS state command headquarters in Port Harcourt, Ngoshe said they had been involved in various kidnappings in Rivers state.
He called on the public to provide useful information on suspected criminal activities in their areas.

“The arrest is sequel to some measure we took to get to the root, even though Kogbara has been released.

“It is a 13-man gang and the leader of the gang, Precious is now at large. I want to use this medium to call on parents to caution their children”, he said.

A pump action gun and some ammunition were some of the items recovered from the suspects.
Donu Kogbara was released in September after spending several weeks in the kidnappers’ den.
