Twitter has suspended the account of the dreaded Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) on Monday.
The Twitter account, @NDAvengers, has been a veritable avenue through which the militant group usually notifies the world about its heinous activities, views and demands.
Through the Twitter account, the latest exploit of the group, in which five oil installations belonging to Chevron, NNPC and NPDC were, last Friday, and early Sunday morning attacked, were relayed to the public.
The group’s Twitter account page, when visited early Monday morning, read: “This account has been suspended,” asking users to “enter a topic, @name, or full name.”
The group has been responsible for the recent major attacks on oil facilities in the Niger-Delta region.
