Muna Obiekwe was a Nigerian actor. He was one of the most popular actors in Nigeria. On January 18, 2015, Obiekwe died from kidney disease.  There are however untold stories you really need to know about the death of the actor. He is survived by wife and children. He died after he could not afford the fee the Nigerian health care was demanding.

Nollywood actor, Peter Bunor,  passed away on May 2, 2015, and was laid to rest and paid last respect by his colleagues and family on May 30, 2015. The Veteran actor died after battling with stroke for several years. Peter Bunor had complained for years, accusing his colleagues, even the ones he mentored in the industry, of abandoning him after he fell ill.
“Since this thing happened there has been no single actor that called me to ask about my condition. It is a shame on their part. Would they say they don’t know that I am sick? ‘I had a stroke and that was the end of it” He told Vanguard in 2013.

Dan Maraya Jos was a Nigerian Hausa Griot best known for playing the kontigi. Dan Maraya Jos, whose name means “The Little Orphan of Jos”, was born in 1946 and died Saturday, 20 June 2015 in B’ukur, near Jos in Plateau State, Nigeria after a protracted illness.

4. Ooni Of Ife

One of Nigeria’s prominent ruler, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuade died  in a London hospital after he was rushed to the UK. He died 28th of July after ruling for about 36 years. Officially, Alayeluwa Oba Okunade Sijuwade was born on January 1, 1930. He became the 50th traditional ruler or Ooni of Ife at the age of 50 in 1980, taking the regnal name Olubuse II.

5. Ajigijaga

Popular Yoruba- Nollywood actor, Mufutau ‘Ajigijaga’ Sanni, died Friday, July 31, 2015, at his residence in Agege, Lagos following injuries he sustained from an accident he was involved in previous weeks back. Ajigijaga died at the age of 60.
