They’ve built an empire on their social media presence but the Kardashian-Jenner family have abandoned all their accounts – across Twitter, SnapChat and Instagram – since the tragic news about Lamar Odom was revealed.
The family boast millions of followers between them and rarely go a few hours without posting a message but, following the events that unfolded on Tuesday night Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian along with younger sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner and momager Kris have been worryingly silent.
Lamar’s ex-wife Khloe Kardashian tweeted last at around 4:30pm (ET) just an hour before TMZ broke the story that Odom had been found unconscious at a Nevada brothel.
Youngest of Kris Jenner’s children – Kylie – was the last member of the family to post anything on social media.
She had started a live stream on her App when it was abruptly ended after just ten minutes.
Taking to her Twitter at around 6:30pm (ET) on Tuesday evening the star gave a brief explanation to fans, writing: “Had to end my live stream. I love you guys.”
NBA star Lamar Odom is currently at the Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas in a critical condition. The twice NBA championship winner was rushed to hospital after being found unconscious at a Nevada brothel at around 3pm on Tuesday.
There’s been no official statement yet on the situation from the famous family, but ex-wife Khloe Kardashian is believed to be by his bedside after flying to Las Vegas from Los Angeles to be with him.
Kris Jenner and pregnant sister Kim reportedly accompanied the 31-year-old to the city.
LA Lakers star Kobe Bryant is also believed to have visited the unconscious Odom alongside Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak at the hospital following his former team’s game in Vegas on Tuesday night.
Los Angeles Daily News reporter Mark Medina tweeted: “I’m told Lakers had 2 hour delay on their flight amid Lamar Odom’s situation. Kobe and Mitch among those who visited him.”
