Kanye West ordered Justin Bieber’s ‘freestyle vocal’ to be removed from new album

Justin Bieber recorded vocals for one of Kanye West’s tracks – only for them to be cut from the final outcome.

Musician Fonzworth Bentley – a close friend of Kanye – was closely involved in the making of the rapper’s album The Life Of Pablo.

Fonzworth has since revealed the process behind putting the record together, specifically the first track Ultralight Beam.

The song features the like of Kelly Price and Kirk Franklin, and at one point Justin was also lined-up to be involved.

Fonzworth explained that the pop brat’s involvement came about by chance after Kanye reached out to songwriter Poo Bear, who was with Justin at the time.

“Justin hops on the phone and is like: ‘Tell Yeezy whatever he needs I got it’,” Fonzworth told FADAR.

“Justin got on the mic and sang some a cappella. It was free flow. It was creativity.”

Fonzworth added that Justin’s freestyle vocals just didn’t work for Kanye and he ordered them to be removed.

We have contacted Kanye and Justin’s reps for a comment.

Kanye might be regretting his decision after his new album failed to chart in both the US and UK.

The record was released exclusively on Tidal following its unveiling as part of his global Yeezy Season 3 premiere last month.
