She’s one of Hollywood’s most bankable stars and she always kills on the red carpet ( when she’s not falling over ).
But according to Jennifer Lawrence , her personal style should be described as “slutty power lesbian”.
In another refreshingly honest interview with Glamour magazine, J Law explained: “That is literally what I say to a stylist.
“I don’t know if that’s offensive…. You don’t see me as a slutty power lesbian on the red carpet a lot, because I’m embodying the Dior woman, which is an honor.”
Explaining the ‘slutty’ part of her style, the 25-year-old added: “But [also] I’ve got tits and an ass. And there are things that are made for skinny people – like a lot of embroidery, or it covers a lot – and those make me look fat. I have to show the lumps.
“If you have boobs, you have to show, like, ‘These are boobs. This isn’t cellulite.’ [Laughs.] Not that there’s anything wrong with that.”
So THAT explains all the flashes of side-boob on her recent Hunger Games tour.
The star sticks to this same principle for her shoot – at one point stripping down to a skimpy black bikini with high-waisted undies.
Appearing on the cover of Glamour’s February issue, the gorgeous star stunned in a very low-cut white Dior dress, which showed off those enviable curves.
With her bobbed locks combed back away from her face, the focus was very clearly on her trim physique and tiny waist as she accessorised with just a pair of Ana Khouri earrings.
During the candid chat, to promote her new movie Joy, out now, the A-lister also joked that she’d appreciate “three months off” from fame where she couldn’t be photographed.
Despite the fact she claimed to be “addicted to work”, she said: “I would love to be able to control being photographed. Then I wouldn’t have a new headline out today that I wore the same jeans three days in a row.”
The outspoken star has been very open about the need to protect herself from toxic friends – even admitting: “I have zero guilt about just cutting them the f*** out of my life.”
But it’s safe to say her new A-list pals, Emma Stone, Adele and Amy Schumer, aren’t part of this list.
Speaking about her girl group, she said: “It’s so weird; I don’t like new people. But these two women – and Amy – they’re really lovely.
“And they’re so normal. I feel like I’m hanging out with my friends – my friends that don’t give a f*** about what I do.
“Amy’s always wanted to live on Martha’s Vineyard, and we saw this house, and we’re like, ‘This is where we’re gonna Grey Gardens, and we’re gonna grow old and crazy together.’ That’s our life plan.”
It seems the gorgeous blonde is definitely choosing the girls over the guys at this moment in her life.
On dating, she added: “I don’t meet a lot of guys who I want to go on a date with.
“I’ll find a guy attractive maybe once a year. But I’m not a lonely person. Me not dating someone is not a lack of anything in any way. I feel completely fulfilled. Yes, when I spark with someone, it’s exciting, but I definitely don’t need that.…”
The star also joked that she wanted “people to have less me”, which is understandable considering she’s managed to supply an endless collection of GIFs and tweet-worthy one-liners, all without having any social media.
She added: “I feel like I’m over-paid-attention-to. I’m not trying to be a GIF. I’m not trying to be a picked-up-on-Twitter quote. All I’m trying to do is act.”
