Popular Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe who was recently impersonated via her Facebook page has come out to warn her fans and loved ones that, she knows nothing about it.

Mercy, who got the scam report last week through her publicist, immediately released a press release in order to clear the incident.

Mercy warns her fans not to pay attention to such information and reveals that, she does not even own a Facebook account.

She said “I will like to make it clear to my fans and the general public that for now I don’t have a Facebook account if anybody tells you to send money using my picture for a movie or any other thing it’s all fake. Also, for now my school of drama has not kicked up yet because I was also informed that somebody posed as my manager asking people to pay school fees. MagDiva School of drama has not kicked up but very soon we are going to start and we will setup a right platform in order to get people informed about it. So please they should just be warned so they don’t fall victim”.

The light skinned and beautiful actress also reveals that, investigations are on-going in order to perpetrate the people behind his act.

Mercy said “there are investigations that are on-going so when they are caught they will be brought to book. They do it to lots of celebrities and it is unfair”.

However, Mercy added that she does not even have a twitter account but only operates one Instagram account and the other fan page on Instagram was opened on her behalf.
