Emily Ratajkowski looked incredible as she showed off her famous curves in a na ked snap on Monday.
The 24-year-old, who shot to fame after appearing in Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines video, had one arm across her chest as she posed side-on in a doorway.
With her pert bum on display, the model looked fresh-faced and flawless as she stripped off.
But it seems there was an important message behind the model’s stunning snap.
Writing alongside the racy Instagram snap, Emily explained it was shared in honour of a letter she’d penned for Lena Dunham’s Lenny Letter newsletter.
“This piece of writing is near and dear to me,” she wrote.
The essay, which was posted today, has been named Baby Woman – her father’s nickname for her after she developed D-cup breasts at the age of 12 – discusses what it means to be sexual.
And the model, who’s well-known for getting her kit off, revealed some surprising home truths.
Because of her growing body, Emily revealed she’d been advised by family and friends to “hide out” and “keep a low profile” to avoid attention.
“Their comments felt much more personal and thus landed that much harder,” said the Gone Girl actress. “I was still figuring out how to put a tampon in, never mind how to understand some of the more complicated aspects of womanhood.”
“The implication is that to be sexual is to be trashy because being sexy means playing into men’s desires. To me, “sexy” is a kind of beauty, a kind of self-expression, one that is to be celebrated, one that is wonderfully female.
“Why does the implication have to be that sex is a thing men get to take from women and women give up? Most adolescent women are introduced to “sexy” women through porn or Photoshopped images of celebrities.”
