Um…’” After some thought, he said he decided now wasn’t the best time to have that talk. “I was like, ‘You know what? You can be whatever you want to be.’ And she goes, ‘Thanks, dad!’ Runs off to the playground and that was it,” he said. “I’ll have to pick that conversation up in a few years time.”
Some twitter and other social media users think he shouldn’t have told her that she could be whatever she wanted to be, adding that at 4 years old, he should have sat her down told she is a girl hence doesn’t need an eggplant so as to avoid confusion in future. While others said he did the right thing.
