FORTH WORTH, Texas — A North Texas science teacher is accused of having a sex with a student at various hotels near her home, police say. Science teacher Rachelle Nicole Heenan, a married mother of two, was arrested at her home in Haslet on July 5 after being accused of the inappropriate relationship, NBCDFW.com reported. While the student was listed as 18 on the police report, the age of the student at the time of the relationship is unclear, according to NBCDFW.com. Improper relationships between educators and students is a second-degree felony, and a conviction carries up to a 20-year sentence.
