David Beckham In Tears As He Plays His Last Moments As A Footballer
David Beckham played his last game as a footballer tonight, with the Englishman captaining PSG in their last home game of the season.
Beckham had looked emotional before the game, waving to the crowds and blowing kisses to his fans during the warm up for his final match.
And eventually bursted into tears as he was substituted off in the second half, with everyone in the stadium according him a standing ovation.
A visibly upset Beckham was surrounded by the PSG players who hugged him one by one as he walked off.
As his name was read out over the stadium’s speaker system, PSG fans gave out a huge cheer and continued to chant ‘Stay David, Stay’ throughout the match.

What were your early days like?
Both my parents are British; my mother was actually born there. I was born and raised in London. Growing up was fun for me. I am an only child, so it was relatively quiet. It was not really boring for me because I have a lot of cousins, they are more than 20. I cannot even count. I always found myself hanging out with them because a lot of them live in London and in America, so there is always something to do.

Wale is taking to Twitter to shut down rumors that he hooked up with Rihanna.
Over the weekend, the pop singer posted a picture of herself in the studio with the rapper. Shortly after, a screen grab showing a “conversation” between Wale and a fan was posted online. During that conversation, Wale allegedly revealed that he “f*cked Riri.” The only problem with the conversation is that it was taken from a fake account, not Wale’s official one.
“Fake pages got y’all turnt up huh,” the rapper tweeted on Monday afternoon.
but we couldn’t have imagined Wale being foolish enough to divulge his relations with Rihanna over a Twitter conversation with a fan, just days after recording a song with her.

Northern Elders To Jonathan – You Have Declared War On Northern Nigeria
Northern elders on Thursday broke their silence on the slamming of state of emergency in three of their states, describing the action of President Goodluck Jonathan as an indirect declaration of war on the Northern part of Nigeria.
The President’s action, which took the northern elders by surprise, is coming barely three weeks after Jonathan accepted a roadmap from the NEF on how to end the Boko Haram insurgency in parts of the north.
The elders had successfully impressed upon the Presidency to raise the Boko Haram committee to dialogue with the sect with a view to restoring elusive peace to the region. Jonathan, who met with the NEF leadership in Abuja in April, subsequently inaugurated the Turaki-led BH committee with a mandate to broker peace with the sect and compensate their victims

2face, Ice Prince Nominated For BET Awards 2013 [SEE FULL LIST]
Nigerian artistes – Pop singer 2face Idibia and rapper Ice Prince Zamani have both been nominated for this years BET Awards taking place at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on June 30.
2face and Ice Prince are nominated in the ‘Best International Act: Africa’ category along with four other African artistes - Toya Delazy (South Africa), Donald (South Africa), R2Bees (Ghana) and Radio and Weasel (Uganda).
2face and Ice Prince aren’t new to the awards show; in 2011, 2face Idibia won along side D’banj and in 2012, Ice Prince was nominated alongside Wizkid (Wizkid won the award with Sarkodie).

This will always be home for me. At least, it’s comforting to know one is with family, and I am glad to be home. I missed home, mum and dad. Things may not be what they should be, but home is it. There were too many things I took for granted before I left, but now, I know better.
